August 2010
Nick has been very busy over the last couple of months playing shows, doing sessions, and touring a bit. He just finished teaching at the MOMM Music Camp in Carlsbad for a week with Drummer/Composer Ed Roscetti. He also went on the road with Julie the Band for a couple of weeks, where they played shows, and did a few on-air radio promo interviews/performances. He has been lucky to record quite a bit with singer songwriters Jordyn Mallory, Raley Holloway, Jason Corcoran, Kevin Hayashi, Levi, and pop artist Darling Nikki. He just posted some finished recordings in the "Audio/Video" section of the site, so go check them out now! Nick plans to stay busy through the end of the year gigging with Darling Nikki, Kim Divine, Kelly McGrath, Stazia, Kevin DeClue, Julie the Band, and other fantastic artists!
March 2010
Nick will be playing his first show with Darling Nikki at Harpers Bar and Grill in Tarzana on April 10, followed by a gig the Galaxy Theater in Orange County on Friday April 16th opening for The English Beat. This will be the band's first shows. They will continue to play live until May when they begin showcasing. March 2010
Nick just signed on to do a short tour with Julie the band from late April to early May 2010. They will kick it off at Wayne state University in Wayne NE, and end in El Paso TX. Show dates and times are up now in the Calendar section. Julie just finished recording their new EP so check back for new songs in the coming weeks.
Nick has continued rehearsal with Darling Nikki, and begins playing shows with her shortly in the Orange County/Los Angeles areas. He has also continued to gig locally with Kim Divine, Kelly McGrath, and Stazia, and will have more dates coming soon.
February 2010
Nick just picked up a new project with pop artist Stazia. She is currently putting the finishing touches her record with Producers/songwriters Kevin DeClue (Hilary Duff) and Andre Cymone (Tina Turner, Prince), and Grammy/Emmy winning engineer Joel Soyffer. Nick just signed on to play with pop rock artist Darling Nikki. She is currently signed to a production deal, and is in development with her producers/managers. They begin rehearsals shortly, so check back soon for show dates/times, and music links!
January 2010
Nick recently received a press mention in www.cwgmagazine.com, in an album review for Julie the Band's "Act of Communication." This is Nick's first press mention of 2010.
December 2009
Nick will be kicking off 2010 with some great gigs for singer/songwriters Kim Divine, and Kelly McGrath! He will also be recording the new Julie the Band record in the spring, and will be playing SXSW with them in March. Julie has made some great progress in the past year with a very successful tour in the summer, and just received word that the remix of their single "Foggin' up a Clear View" they did with D12 member, Obie Trice, will be appearing on his next record! Nick was also fortunate to do some great session work this year, and has high hopes for 2010.

August 2009
Nick Just completed a very successful international tour with Julie The Band! He followed up his tour with a week long teaching job at a music camp with bassist Justin Apergis, and guitarist Kenny Echizen hosted by Ed Roscetti, and Remo at the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA. Check the "Photos" section for pictures from the tour. More video will be up soon as well!

Nick has just signed on to tour with Julie the Band from late June through mid July. They will be visiting Canada, Texas, Arizona, Colorado and more! Check the Calendar section for specific dates and locations.

March 2009
Nick graduated from Musicians Institute on March 21st and is the latest recipient of the PIT's "Outstanding Players Award." His picture will appear in an upcoming issue of Modern Drummer Magazine.
